Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of Executive Assistant to ensure smooth and efficient administration and management of the MD’s office, including scheduling, travel, engagement, activities, and communication between the MD’s office, board, staff, external stakeholders, customers, clients, and others.

Responsibilities:
Board Meetings:

  • Maintain and refine internal processes that support high-ranking executives, and ensure operations run efficiently.
  • Arrange and prepare board packs for board meetings.
  • Ensure hotel accommodation and airport transfers for board directors.
  • Ensure all necessary items are made available for and during board meetings.

Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for the MD, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, transportation, and other company logistics.
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management for senior executives, travel logistics, and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): With the Head of Marketing, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, create and develop activities that build the image of MCL in areas of Health, Education, and Environment, ensuring sustainability.
  • Support other external CSR activities.

Customer Care:

  • Manage the MCL front desk and ensure efficient customer service for board, staff, external stakeholders, customers, clients, and other internal and external clients.
  • Organize team communications and plan management office and company-wide events, conferences, workshops, and other engagements either internally, virtually, or off-site.
  • Ensure punctuality, dress code that portrays the MCL employees’ image, and that front desk officers are smart and courteous to guests.
  • Monthly reports on activities at the front office.
  • Maintain the ambiance at the reception at all times.

Engagement Management:

  • Manage visits and visitors to the MD’s office, ensuring each guest has the same exceptional experience engaging with MCL.
  • Manage engagements with internal and external stakeholders, employees, and HoDs to ensure delivery of various projects and tasks.

General Administration:

  • Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contacts database.
  • Manage calls, supporting management reports, letters, minutes, boardroom access & availability, and other admin tasks.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Academic: Basic university degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related field.
  • Skills: Secretarial & customer care skills.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Marketing, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability. This role will lead a combined portfolio that establishes MCL’s market presence, visibility, influence, and brand equity. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of marketing, corporate affairs, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Sustainability & Corporate Affairs:

  • Cultivate commercial and non-commercial partnerships to deliver sustainability, corporate affairs, and marketing initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability within MCL by training employees on sustainable practices and encouraging green initiatives, working with HR and other departments.
  • Develop and implement the company’s annual strategic marketing, corporate affairs, and sustainability plans.
  • Prepare regular sustainability reports for executive leadership and stakeholders, showcasing progress, insights, and recommendations.
  • Identify and implement best practices in sustainable media production, resource management, and digital content distribution.

Brand & Market Development:

  • Develop and execute MCL’s approach to corporate affairs to positively position the institution on key emerging issues as the focal person for public engagement.
  • Develop a standard brand communication approach, common to all the products in the areas of brand image, merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Develop strong brands by targeting identified marketing and consumer needs to expand the market and increase the company’s share of the market in various segments.
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate MCL’s customer care and promotional standards, procedures, and activities.

Strategic Marketing & Communication:

  • Develop and implement strong marketing programs to ensure all revenue-generating functions meet their targets and grow.
  • Prepare and control the approved company’s marketing, corporate affairs, and sustainability budget.
  • Coordinate continuous gathering of information and feedback from customers, the trade, and marketplace through market analyses and market research to guide tactics and strategy.

Sustainability Programs & Decision Making:

  • Develop and implement a long-term sustainability strategy aligned with MCL’s values and business objectives.
  • Recommend and champion sustainability programs that augment MCL’s business (e.g., green initiatives to reduce the use of paper and consumables).
  • Ensure MCL is up to date with marketing and sustainability policies in alignment with industry standards and facilitate data-driven decision-making.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Academic: Basic university degree; Diploma in PR and Communications studies.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years working experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and strategic marketing skills with experience in corporate affairs and sustainability.
