Tanzania’s national road network is developed, maintained, and managed by the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), a government organization. TANROADS, which was founded in 2000, is essential to maintaining effective transportation infrastructure across the nation. TANROADS is in charge of the design, planning, and building of new roads, bridges, and highways in addition to the upkeep and repair of already-existing ones. The organization wants to improve road safety for both passenger and freight transportation, decrease travel times, and increase connection. To guarantee the successful completion of road projects, it works with a range of stakeholders, such as communities, contractors, and governmental organizations. Additionally, TANROADS identifies places that require repair or improvement through routine inspections and assessments, and it takes action to resolve these problems as soon as possible.
The Regional Manager TANROADS Kilimanjaro, on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, is looking for qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant posts available for the Project for Upgrading of Same-Kisiwani-Mkomazi (100.5 km) Road to Bitumen Standard; Lot 2: Ndungu-Mkomazi Section (36 km) in Kilimanjaro Region.
